Red Magic 8 Pro, the first gaming phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, might be launched soon

Which manufacturer will introduce the first gaming smartphone with Snapdragon Gen 2? The Redmi K60 Gaming, Red Magic 8 series, ASUS ROG 7 series, and Black Shark 6 series are anticipated contenders. The K60 Gaming is anticipated to make its debut in February 2023. Although the ROG 7 series launch date is unknown, the Black Shark 6 series is anticipated to come by the end of Q1. A recent development raises the possibility that the Red Magic 8 Pro may soon make its debut as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone in the globe.

A brand-new Nubia device with the model number NX729J has received approval from the Chinese TENAA authority. The Red Magic 8 Pro branding on the same device has been seen at the Bluetooth SIG authority.

Devices are reported to be released about a month after they first appear in the database of the Bluetooth SIG. It is therefore conceivable that the Red Magic 8 Pro will make its Chinese debut as early as December of this year. Since the Red Magic 7 lineup was announced in February 2022, it appears that the Red Magic 8 series may debut early.

The Red Magic 8 Pro's specifications as of right now are unknown. The phone has a large battery with support for quick charging and a high refresh rate display because it is designed as a gaming phone.

The Red Magic 7S Pro is Nubia's last gaming phone. It has a 6.8-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 18GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 135W charging. The smartphone can charge at 65W in its global version. It sports a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit with 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) resolution.
