iQOO 11 Legend might be the first smartphone running Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 available globally

The iQOO 11 Legend is anticipated to be the first smartphone in the world to run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Yesterday, Qualcomm introduced the second iteration of its flagship processor. In the upcoming weeks, numerous manufacturers are anticipated to make their smartphone debuts in China with the aforementioned chipset. Now, tipster Anvinraj (@zionsanvin on Twitter) has reported that iQOO, a Vivo sub-brand, may be the first to introduce a phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The tipster also mentions the possibility of the iQOO 11 Legend making its appearance by the end of this month. The launch event could happen on November 27 or 29, and the announcement could come after November 25. The debut date may also apply to the Malaysian market as it has already been hinted that it will happen soon there.

The iQOO 11 series will debut as the iQOO 10 series' successor. The number series flagship from iQOO has been available in the Legend Edition, which was created in collaboration with BMW Motorsports. On the back panel, it has the manufacturer's recognizable Red-Black-Blue stripe pattern. The Legend Edition's RAM and storage options were previously hinted at. Expected storage capacities for the device are 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB.

According to reports, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.2 storage will power the iQOO 11 series. Additionally, a proprietary V2 image processing processor will be included. The Pro model is rumored to have a 4,700mAh cell with 200W charging while the ordinary model is supposed to have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging capabilities.
