Xiaomi 12T with Dimensity 8100 and Android 12 surfaced on Geekbench

The Xiaomi 12T series is about to be released on the global market, and Xiaomi is getting ready. The Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro are the two phones that will make up the series. Additionally, these models will make their debuts in China under the Redmi K50S and K50S Pro names.
Although the device has already surfaced on Geekbench, disclosing some of its key features, the global launch is anticipated to take place in the upcoming weeks.
According to the listing, the Xiaomi 22071212AG (Xiaomi 12T) sports an octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.85GHz and the remaining four at 2.0GHz. This is the Dimensity 8100 chipset with the Mali G610 GPU.
The listing also shows that the handset runs Android 12 and has 8GB of RAM. Regarding the tests, the device receives 753 points in the single-core test and 2990 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5. The listing does not list any other specifications, although the smartphone just went on sale in Peru before the launch, disclosing all of its details.
The Xiaomi 12T has a 6.67-inch centered punch-hole OLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It incorporates an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and features 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. A triple camera system with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor is located on the back of the device. However, a 20MP selfie camera is located on the front. The main camera can only currently record videos in 4K at 30 frames per second.
Moreover, the device also runs MIUI 13 on top of Android 12. It supports 120W rapid wired charging and features a 5,000mAh battery. The retail packaging has the charger inside.
